Evade and refund points . I still don't like how some skills that block make more sense if they evaded, but meh.

I remember The Frozen Chest and The Lost Strongbox, Eles being made redundant in SF overnight with the first AoE nerf, the gear trick,....rockmolder 100k pre-nerf... THK monk strike, and being the hardest mission in the game.....good times.

I remember the refund points too (and then going, "WTF GONE! "), my friends being stuck on THK for weeks, PUGs actually being more bearable and less a-holes, killing Glint was really hard, GvG being the only way to get people into a guild, being r3 was leet, mino farming... that kinda stuff .

I remember:

-Lion's Arch for the first time. Seemed so big then.
-Seeing the first set of 15k armor (glad's). It was aqua teal and looked so shiny!
-First RA match (at level 14)
-Thinking Drok's was some totally high-end secret place that sold the ascended armor.
-Spamming "trading FDS for IDS"
-My first awesome guild.

I remember when Burial mounds was a 4 team massive orgy of killing
I remember when Scarred Earth was there.
I remember when I thought that my Droks armor was the best ever and then I realized how ugly it was

I remember the release of IDS and how I promptly farmed and sold one for an easy 40k.
I remember how I made over 200k just by buying wood, crafting parchment, then reselling parchment in Droks.
I remember farming the trolls in Snake Dance because I didn't know about the troll cave outside Droks.
I remember farming Griffons post-AoE nerf, and it was still totally fun.

I remember doing a 13-consecutive RA win with a level 13 Wammo against level 20's. A WAMMO! I had Mending. Boy did I love Mending. My energy sucked since I used Healing Breeze on my teammates and their mom. I blame all the other Online games where I went Paladin. >_> Few days into GW and I had no clue what I was doing, so I kept getting ran everywhere. Droks was nice the first time... expensive, but nice. :P Played for like a week and a half, then left GuildWars for 2 years until like a week ago. I still had 9 plat in my storage. o_o

I also remember those refund points. Made no since. :P

I remember when ......

I was excited to get to the desert to get max collector's armor
When thirsty river and thk seemed really difficult
When rangers couldn't get into groups ever
When the game never seemed a grind
When I had great fun watching my friends griffin farm
When my monk was ranger secondary and had a bear for protection...lol

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Refund_point

o_o It's an unmentionable game mechanic that we will not mention unless required by people who would like to know why the unmentionable is unmentionable, thus making it... mentionable!

I remember when it was only Prophecies and if you wanted to play with a couple of friends (rather than PUG) you basically couldn't get past the southern Shiverpeaks. Then I stopped playing until Nightfall came out. Thank goodness for heroes or GW would still be gathering dust on the shelf I put it on back in January of '06.

I remember when grinding/farming was fun and optional.

I remember when I spent a large sum of money on a 10/10 sundering mod.

I remember when I would stay up all night farming griffons.

I remember when I would go into the Under World with a PUG.
